Welcome

Esperanza Peinado Plaza was born in Córdoba (Spain) 154 years after the invention of the ultramarine pigment and 2 years before graphic tablets came into existence. She is a draftswoman and digital illustrator. A classic education as an Art Historian and Art Restorer, as well as her passion for literature, has shaped her style towards magical realism. Her drawings are fragments of stories, snapshots of tales and lives with a very pronounced imaginative component, backed up by anatomic observation and attention to detail.

Moreover, her collaborations in the creation of contemporary art pieces, as well as experimenting with digital techniques, have provided her with new expression tools and greater fluency with content design and layout.

Her work as an illustrator is extensive and versatile, and it is comprised of designs and virtual guides for museums, board games, book covers, prints, illustration of stories, posters, and logos.

In addition, and thanks to an ergonomic suit, she is the Batman since 2012 but, due to her natural modesty and safety matter, she prefers to be discrete about it.
